Basic Website Package:
1) Includes a domain name (yourname.com) You will have to choose a name that is not already taken. It should be a (dot)com for best results. If you need help, contact us.
A word about domain registration. We use godaddy for domain registrations. They are fast and reliable and include many useful tools. You can find a name there but don’t buy it. Let us do that as a part of your package and save the money plus redirecting the name servers, unless you want to start your own account.
2) Includes Hosting - The computer code of your site resides here and is served to someone looking at your site. The software used to run your site will be WordPress.
A word about hosting. Our hosting provider is hostgator and is a business account with a dedicated server. Although I am one customer I pay extra so I am guaranteed access to the entirety of the hardware’s performance 24/7. The performance of your site will never be in question. Although we can transfer your account from another server there may be some limitations.
So we provide your domain registration and hosting with our basic package. All for only $100 per year. 
WordPress is typically used for Blogs or Website scrapbooks which are incredibly useful tools for building friendships and can eventually develop into full blown business websites. Almost all business sites now have a blog associated with them. Word Press (WP) software will give you the basic skills and experience required to post and maintain information on a website.
Why pay someone to manage your site if you want to make money online with it. Don’t be held hostage by a programmer. If you were a carpenter would you outsource your hammer and saw? If you want to start a business site but are not quite ready, this is a good place to start developing friendships (personal branding) and skills which can be used for a main business website later.
