find-products-to-sell-online-part-2
Finding products online can be easy or daunting depending upon your approach to your website. One of the easiest ways is to become an affiliate. This means you would sell someone else’s product and receive a part of the sale. The site used most often for this is Clickbank. You can open an account for free and start selling immediately. You would typically need a ‘capture page’ where your initial traffic would go. You could then use their ‘sales page’ or make one of your own and you would also need a ‘thank-you’ page where customers would be sent after the sale.
Another way would be to develop a product and place it on clickbank for others to become your affiliates. This way you could have a potential army of affiliates to sell your product.
You can also place ads on your site so when someone clicks on that ad you receive a small click through amount. This is usually set up with google adsense, but there are a few others. Many make a nice living just doing this with high traffic sites. Google has done quite well.
If you have a product(s) you can simply open an online store. Also, Many do well selling non-physical products such as ebooks. Electronic books that can be downloaded from your site. Most of your time would then be devoted to generating traffic for the store.
Which brings up an important point. Once your site is up and running, most of you time will always be used generating traffic.
You can also charge people a subscription to your site. Possibly allowing special content at an additional fee.
Finally, you can charge for offline classes. Seminars like teleseminars or webinars and/or consulting work. I see many of the top marketers going this route.
What ever you choose it will have to be coupled with solid marketing and traffic generation to your site to make a profit. Hard work is always the common denominator to success.
